Very famous are the Tari Likok Pulo, a dance created by a Arab in Aceh in 1949. The dance starts from a low tempo to a very fast one. Also the Rapai Geleng is very famous.

I am 44 yearsold and single parrent.
My sons, Dimas and Tenghu are 14 and 16 years old.
They both still go to school and are very keen to help you out with yourn questions about Aceh and their daily life here. They can speak very well English.
When the tsunami struck in December 2004, I lost my mother, two sisters and four of my cousins. My greater family lost in total over 100 people at this massive event which changed the face of Banda Aceh completely and led to an impressive reconstruction and rehabilitation process with the overwhelming help of so many national and international donors.
I am also working as a journalist for a big radio station here in Banda Aceh.
Thus I know a lot of people here and can provide you with a lot of informations.
My house has about 250 square meters and has a big kitchen and a nice living room with old colonial style furniture. My rooms range from 9 square meters to 25 square meters. Me and my two sons will do our best to make your stay here in Banda Aceh unforgetable.
